What types of care does Maybrook Hills provide?



We offer short-term rehabilitation, respite care, skilled nursing, independent living, and supportive services—all in one location. Our programs are designed to promote recovery, independence, and comfort for every resident.

Is medical staff available around the clock?



Yes. Our facility has a full-time Medical Director on-site Monday through Friday, and our Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) is available 24/7 to take calls, order testing, and coordinate care.

Do you provide therapy and rehabilitation services?



Absolutely. Our on-site therapy team offers physical, occupational, and speech therapy, as well as IV therapy (including PICC and midline insertions), wound care, and pain management programs.

Are psychologists available for residents?



Yes. Licensed psychologists visit two to three times per week to provide emotional support, talk therapy, and guidance for residents dealing with depression, stress, or adjustment challenges.

What supportive services are offered beyond medical care?



Residents benefit from in-house X-ray, blood draws (through Nason Hospital staff), dialysis, dental services, a beauty/barber shop, chapel, therapy dogs, and a snack shop open daily.

Do you provide dining options for residents?



Yes. All meals are prepared by our chef and tailored by a registered dietitian to meet individual health needs. Meals are served in a comfortable, home-like dining setting, and we also host food trucks and special events to create enjoyable dining experiences.

Does Maybrook Hills offer independent living?



Yes. Our Park View wing offers independent living with the added peace of mind of 24/7 nursing support, full kitchens, and the freedom to come and go as you wish. This level of independence with medical support is unique in our area.

We are the only facility in the Altoona area with a full-time Medical Director on-site throughout the week, a CRNP available 24/7, and endocrine services always accessible.
